A lot has shipped at Miramis since the start of the year. Approval workflows powered by PLAI, custom metadata extraction across your entire contract portfolio, a redesigned eSigning experience that closes the gap with specialist tools, integrations with HubSpot and Salesforce, and a new dashboard built around the things teams actually need to act on. Here's everything that's changed - and what it means for the way your business creates, signs, and manages contracts.

AI-native approval workflows

Contracts that need sign-off before signing now get it automatically, without Legal manually tracking every document.

You define the rules once: which contract types trigger a check, which teams or users are in scope, and who needs to approve. When a user navigates to eSigning, the system checks in the background. If nothing matches your rules, nothing interrupts them. If something does, they're prompted to run an approval check, and PLAI, our AI contract agent, assesses whether the document needs escalation and who should sign off.

This is a fundamentally different way of managing approval requirements. AI-native, flexible, and built to give the business the speed it needs while keeping Legal in full control. No manual chasing. No missed sign-offs. A full audit trail on every decision.

Custom metadata: your contract data, your way

Miramis already extracts a comprehensive set of optimised metadata tags out of the box, built and refined for accuracy across thousands of contracts. You can now extend this with your own custom tags and have AI extract them automatically from every contract in the platform.

Every business tracks different things: payment terms, governing law, supplier tier, contract value thresholds. Define the fields that matter to you, write a plain-language prompt describing what to extract, and Miramis does the rest. Filter, report, and search across your entire portfolio using data structured to your standards, on top of everything Miramis already captures for you.

eSigning: redesigned and significantly improved

The new eSigning experience closes the gap with specialist eSigning providers like Scrive, DocuSign, and GetAccept. If you're currently using one of those tools, the new experience is worth a look. A fully integrated eSigning experience inside your contract management platform, with no second tool to manage.

Key improvements:

  • Redesigned emails and signing page. Cleaner, clearer, and built around feedback from customers.

  • Custom signature placement. Set exactly where signature boxes appear on the document, with multiple signature boxes per page.

  • Viewer role. Add people who receive the document and the signed copy alongside signers, without being asked to sign.

  • Approver role. Add an internal or external person who must approve the document on the eSigning page before signing is complete. Can be set in the signing order.

  • Finnish digital ID (FTN). Now available as a verification method when signing, alongside our existing eIDAS-compliant methods.

Prefer to keep DocuSign? It's still supported as a native integration.

Updated dashboard: built around what you need to act on

The dashboard has been redesigned around the things you actually need to act on, surfacing the most important contract activity the moment you log in:

  • Need my approval. Contracts waiting for your sign-off.

  • Need my signature. Contracts where you're a signatory, with a direct link to the eSigning page.

  • Notice dates. Contracts you own with upcoming dates in the next 30, 60, or 90 days.

The result: less time hunting for what needs your attention, and more time on the work that matters.

HubSpot and Salesforce integrations: create contracts without leaving your CRM

Sales teams using HubSpot or Salesforce can now create contracts and send them for eSigning directly from their CRM. Deal data pulls through automatically. No switching tools, no manual entry, no rekeying customer details into a contract template.

For sales reps, that means faster, fewer-clicks contract creation. For sales leaders, it means contract cycle time stops being a bottleneck on quarter-end. For everyone else in the business, it means deal data and contract data finally live in sync.

Using a different CRM? Our WebAPI makes it easy to build integrations with any CRM system.

Template formatting: richer control over how your documents look

Documents created from templates in Miramis now support richer formatting. Text styles, tables, and document structure. Templates can carry the formatting your contracts need without requiring a workaround or post-processing in Word.

What this all adds up to

Miramis is the AI-native contract lifecycle management platform built for the whole business, not just the legal team. Each of these updates pushes that further: workflows that route themselves, metadata that structures itself, signing that's built in, and dashboards that surface what matters.

The result is the same idea, applied across more of the contract journey. Contract work that moves at the speed of the business, with the visibility and control Legal needs.

Contract work without friction. Contract intelligence without limits.
